تهتم المرأة بأدق التفاصيل، فهى تميل الى النظر الى الامور بمظور ميكرسكوبي، فهى تتابع أصغر التفاصيل لتربط بينها تكون المشهد بشكل مخالف للمنظور العام، فهى تحب أن ترى المشهد على حقيقته دون تظاهر، و هى تستخدم قدرتها فى الاستنباط و التحليل مع فراستها الفطرية و قدرتها على قراءة لغة الجسد لتكون علاقات اجتماعية متينة. غير أن اهتمامها بالتفاصيل على حساب النظرة الشمولية قد يتسبب فى بعض الأحيان بالقليل من المشاكل فى الحياة العملية. 

بينما يمتلك الرجل نظرة اوسع، فهو يرى الموضوع بنظرة شمولية ارحب تمكنه من الربط على المستوى المنظور مما يتيح له التخطيط بمقياس كبير نسبيا بأن يضع خطط خمسية و عشرية مميزة جدا و ناجحة، غير أن تلك النظرة الشمولية ليست جيدة فى العلاقات الاجتماعية مثل العمل، فهى تضع بعض الحواجز بين الأطراف و تجعل متابعة الطرفين و الاهتمام بمشاكلهم الخاصة منعدم.

يحضرنى موقف طريف كان هناك صديقى طفولة تزوجا من مرأتين لا تعرف احدهما الأخرى من قبل، و لكن بسبب صداقة الزوجين نشأت بينهما علاقة صداقة غير انهما غير دائمتى التلاقى كالزوجين اللذان يمارسان لعب الكرة كل اسبوع و يقضيا الليلة فى جلسة سمر حتى الفجر. فى صبيحة اليوم التالى للقاء الأسبوعي للصديقين، سألت احدى الزوجات زوجها عن صديقه هل لا يزال يرغب فى طلاق زوجته؟، بهت الزوج و أخذته الدهشة فهو لا يعلم بأن هناك خلاف بين صديقه و زوجته من الاساس.

غير أن عشق المرأة للتفاصيل لا يمتد الى معرفتها بالاتجاهات فهى دائمة الضياع فى حال ذهابها الى اى مكان جديد عن طريق وصفة تحتوى الاتجاهات فقط، فيجب لوصولها لمكان جديد لأول مرة أن يتم ربط الاتجاهات بمحلات او عمائر ذات شكل مميز حتى يمكنها الاعتماد عليها. غير أن الرجل لا يحتاج فى ذهابه الى أى مكان لأول مرة الا لوصف دقيق بالأتجاهات ليصل بسهولة عودة الحمام الى عشه. فى حين أن المرأة لا تستحى فى أن تسأل المارة عن وجهتها لتصل الى وجهتها،نجد الرجل يستحى عن السؤال عن المكان خاصة ٱذا كان برفقة زوجته حتى لا يشعر بعجزه أمامها و الذى تستغله المرأة أحيانا فالانتصار لنسفها منه لكثرة توبيخه لها لعدم قدرتها على الوصول الى وجهتها بسهولة.
