تذكرت حين هاتفنى وقال :

فأغلقت الهاتف وقلبي يرتعد قبل يداي وبت استرق نظرات سريعة لعلبة الميكب خاصتى وأتأمل فساتينى، لكن لم أجد سوى أن أنزل لأشترى ما يليق بأميرة فى انتظار فارسها وتخيلت كونى سندريلا مدعوة لحفل الأمير بفستانى الوردي ذات الحزام الأسود اللامع يطوق خصرى وعقصت شعرى وتركت منه بعض الخصلات متدلية على وجنتي مع عقد أسود أخره حرف كبير يحمل اول حرف من اسمينا هكذا تهيأت وانتظرته فى الموعد المحدد وكأن ساعتى بقلبي.. طرقات سريعة متتالية أسمعها كأنها ساعة حائط كبيرة معلقة على إحدى البنايات الشاهقة الارتفاع..

كانت تحوم حولى الأنظار اعجابا بي، انتظرته قرابة الساعة ولم يأت ... أحسست بغصة ومرارة فى قلبي تكاد تفتك بي، فإذا بهاتفى يرن.. إنه هو .. انفرجت شفتاي واستراح قلبي قليلا وبمجرد أن رددت عليه أجابنى بصوت المترقب : 

_لن أستطع الحضور لدى ضيوف .

أى منطق هذا يجعلنى فيه دمية بين يديه، أو قطعة شطرنج يحركها بين أصابعه ثم يضعها فى المكان الذى يريد؟؟ 

حملت على عاتقى أوهامى وكأن سندريلا عادت لتغسل مساحيق أحلامها وتخلع ثوب حبها... 

توسدت الحزن وارتميت بأحضان الشجن حتى رحت فى غيبوبة لم أفق منها إلا على طرق الباب، فإذا بباقة ورد فاخرة وكارت اعتذار رسمي أعقبه اتصال منه يتودد ويعتذر ويخبرنى انه فى الأسفل بانتظارى فهرولت كيف أمشط شعرى وماذا سأرتدى وأى مساحيق سأضع.. ما بين مرآتى ودولابي وحافظة أحذيتى تنقلت كثيرا حتى قررت ما على فعله.. وبالفعل انتهيت بعدها بفترة وجيزة على هذا الفستان الأسود ذو اللمعة الخفيفة قصير من الأمام طويل بعض الشئ من الخلف وارتديت عقدى الماسي وحذائي الفضى ذو الكعب العالى تاركة شعرى مسدول على كتفي..

لا أعرف كيف نسيت ما حدث البارحة ، وعندما وصلت لسيارته طوق خصرى بذراعيه فكنت محجوزة بين السيارة وصدره وما كان منى إلا أننى استسلمت لذراعيه...
