عُذرًا شعوبَ ( الفَيسِ )
عُذرًا شُعوبَ ( الفَيسِ ) كم هو مُؤلِمُ
نأوي إليه ِ و بعد ذلكَ نَندمُ
يَحوي لديهِ مَحَبَّةً وصَداقةً
لكنِّهُ مِن بَعدِ ذلك يَرجُمُ

فيَصيرُ سيفًا غاضبًا لا يَرحَمُ

مع أنها تَشوي الوجوهَ و تَضرِمُ

وكذا نقومُ بحَظرِ أعداءٍ لنا
وكأنّنا في صَفِّ جيشٍ يَهزِمُ
ولكلِّ فَردٍ مِن مَعاشرِ قومِنا
صَفَحاتُهُ يَشكي لها و تُتَرجِمُ
يَحكي بأنَّ الحُبَّ أشعلَ قلبَهُ
فيُجيبُهُ سَيلُ القلوبِ فيُكلَمُ
أو صاحَ آهٍ مِن مَشاعِرَ غُربَةٍ
أو فُرقةٍ تأتي الجِهاتُ تُتَمتِمُ
أشكالُ قوميَ في استباحةِ كأسهِ
ما بين سكرانٍ بهِ و يُحَرِّمُ
هَجروا كتابَ اللهِ مَلّوا نُورَهُ
وتَعبَّدوا ( الفَيسَ ) الرَّجيمَ فأجرَموا
وأعودُ أنشُرُ ما كتبتُ بذَمِّهِ
فاعجَب لنا نغتابُهُ و نُكَرِّمُ
